working on biology.
doing research on the trophic and physical changes going on in the bog
turtle (clemmys muhlengbergii) 's habitat due to invasive species
purple loosestrife.
purple loosestrife is this beautiful plant. it's called une belle
malace because it takes over any wetland it is introduced to. it has no
natural predators and a ridiculously high germination rate. and people
think it's pretty and plant it instead of trying to get rid of it.
the bog turtle is the smallest and rarest turtle in the northeast.
people know little about it and little about how many things they do
impact this struggling species.
la belle malace is beating up clemmys muhlenbergii
egh.
this and the different kinds of symbiosis
have me drawing parallels.
biology and study hall share so many similarites.

building memories on things we haven't said...
when it stops it stops. my heart stops beating.
and the colour falls
leaving me to fill in the spaces
with empty kisses,
misspellings...
the great thing about photographs is their inability to breath
they get to keep the beautiful delicacies of a soft moments
and are never tormented by nostalgia
